Carpenter & Company is the developer of the 189-guestroom Courtyard Boston Brookline in Brookline, Massachusetts that was completed in 2003. In addition to guestrooms, the project includes 150 below-grade parking spaces, a café, meeting rooms, an exercise room, and a lap pool.

Carpenter was selected by the Town of Brookline to develop the hotel on the site of a former municipal parking lot. Carpenter’s plan for the site preserved public parking uses and provided for an 8-story building that is carefully designed to be compatible with the existing uses and structures in the area. The hotel is located on a challenging urban site in a densely developed area.

The Brookline Town Meeting overwhelmingly approved Carpenter’s plans for the hotel before construction, and the project has won unanimous praise from the community since its completion.
