FOUR SEASONS PRIVATE RESIDENCES NEW ORLEANS

Carpenter & Company and Woodward Interests redeveloped the national World Trade Center in New Orleans into a Four Seasons, Louisiana’s first and only five-star, AAA Five Diamond hotel and branded residential property in the history of the city.

Located at the convergence of Canal and Poydras Streets on the Mississippi River waterfront, in the heart of New Orleans, adjacent to the French Quarter, the central business district, and the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, the project consists of 401 hotel rooms and suites, as well as approximately 88 private residences on the building’s upper floors.

The building was designed by legendary architect Edward Durell Stone as the nation’s first purpose-built world trade center, oriented to the four points of the compass, at the crossroads of international commerce.

The development is part of the larger urban waterfront revival plan aimed at breathing new economic life into New Orleans downtown area. Transforming the building from an unoccupied shell to a model of chic opulence is a key milestone in New Orleans’ progress.

Amenities include a 24-hour gym designed by fitness expert Harley Pasternack, a crescent-shaped infinity pool that, at 75 feet, is the largest hotel pool in town, and an eight-room spa. The hotel is also home to accomplished restaurateurs Donald Link’s Chemin a la Mer and Alon Shaya’s Miss River. The Chandelier Bar has received various design awards and is a staple destination in the city for residents and visitors. The residences continue to break records for Louisiana.
