WESTIN BOSTON SEAPORT

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS

Carpenter & Company partnered with Stephen Karp, Steven Fischman, Joseph Fallon, and Joseph O’Donnell to deliver the $200 million, 790-room Westin Boston Seaport Hotel.

Built to serve patrons visiting the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC), the hotel was a major catalyst for the Seaport’s ongoing development and is an active contributor to the neighborhood’s vitality.

At the time of the 2004 groundbreaking, the former and late Boston Mayor Thomas Menino told the Boston Business Journal, “The new Westin headquarters hotel will secure the success of our world-class convention center…Together, these two cornerstones of the South Boston waterfront will anchor our tourism industry and further establish the area as a vibrant, 24-hour neighborhood.”

Visitors benefit from the hotel’s convenient location, which provides easy access to Logan International Airport, major highways, and the Seaport’s destination retail and restaurants. Featuring 32,000 square feet of meeting space, a 15,000 square foot Grand Ballroom, a 4,000 square foot Commonwealth Ballroom, and fourteen additional meeting breakout rooms, as well as a sky bridge that connects directly to the BCEC, the hotel is a popular choice amongst business and leisure travelers.
